Intimate Maui Elopement: Martin and Mackenzie's Love Story

Choosing Maui for Love:

Traveling from Boston, Martin and Mackenzie sought a Maui photographer to artfully weave their love story into immortalized memories.  Having explored other Hawaiian islands, they were drawn to Maui, with its harmonious blend of breathtaking nature and vibrant activities. Maui became the canvas for their intimate celebration, avoiding the crowds of Oahu and the rain of Kauai.

A Tearful First Look:

We suggested incorporating a "first look" – an intimate and fun moment for couples to connect before the ceremony. In the heart of a lush rainforest, Martin was moved to tears as he saw Mackenzie in her stunning white cocktail dress and light violet shoes, a vibrant pop of color against the greenery.

Crafting the Perfect Ceremony:

Every detail, from the florals by Andrea – a preferred vendor of Vanessa Arias Photography – to the ceremony officiated by Sean, was meticulously planned by our team. The ceremony unfolded on the rocky cliffs, creating a stunning backdrop to say “I do”.

Golden Hour Vows on the Cliffs:

Waves crashed on lava rocks, and the golden hour painted the landscape, providing a breathtaking setting for their heartfelt vows. With the lei exchange (traditional Hawaiian garlands or necklaces made from flowers) and blowing of the pu (conch shell) by Sean, Martin and Mackenzie officially became husband and wife.

Dance of Love on the Rocks:

In line with their passion for dancing, Martin and Mackenzie shared a brief first dance on the rocks, savoring the joy of movement in the midst of nature. They marked their union with a captivating photo session, creating artistic images that forever captured the essence of their love.

A Cozy Return:

After exchanging vows on the cliffs, Martin and Mackenzie returned to their room at the Ritz-Carlton, where a cozy fire pit and champagne awaited, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere for the newlyweds.
