A Maui 'Trash the Dress' Session with the Mengual Ohana

As the whole island of Maui was caught up in the fervor of the Super Bowl, we had the pleasure of photographing a 'Trash the Dress' session for the Mengual Ohana on a blissfully quiet beach. While others were glued to their screens, the Menguals were reliving their wedding day, determined to capture the magic they missed during a rainy ceremony on Oahu.

The Menguals, who were traveling all the way from Valencia, Spain, had tied the knot on Oahu a few days before and found themselves yearning for the perfect wedding photos. With rain dampening their original celebration, they seized the opportunity to create new memories on the picturesque shores of Maui. Choosing one of my favorite south side beaches for its stunning sunset views, we embarked on an intimate journey to capture not just photographs but the essence of their connection.
